Shitai Wire Mesh use 5mm welded, hot dip galvanised steel mesh in a 50mm x 50mm grid. This gives you 45% more steel than 75x75mm grid baskets which adds substantially to the overall strength. This will minimize the chance of "bulging" which is often seen in weaker baskets.

All edges are bound together using spiral joiners which form two passes within each 50mm opening- again to double the strength.And the price is about the same!!!When it comes to gabion basket prices, you’ll be pleased to learn that they won’t break the bank.
